The Ypsilanti Area Jaycees empower young adults, age 21-40, to create positive change in our community and themselves. The Jaycees provide the tools to develop the leadership and personal skills of our members through community service and fundraising, personal and professional skills development, and by providing social and networking opportunities.

The Jaycees' programming and events are focused in the areas of Community Development, Management and Business Development, Individual Development, International Involvement and Membership Development. Each year, our local chapter produces 50-70 projects -- all originated, planned and ran by our members.

• Creating Impact in our Community through community service and fundraising, government and civic involvement, and projects benefiting area youth
• Creating Impact in our Personal and Professional Lives by holding skills development trainings, and by participating in State and National conferences and competitions
• Contributing to a Larger International Impact through international awareness and involvement projects, and working towards United States Junior Chamber and JCI focus areas
• Facilitating Social and Networking Opportunities through regular meetings and socials

We are a group of dedicated, passionate and hard-working young people focused on making themselves and our community a better place to be. We take pride in what we do and are dedicated to leading the positive change needed throughout Ypsilanti.
