Beautiful Baby Winners Crowned at Ypsilanti's Heritage Festival

We have winners in the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival Beautiful Baby Contest. With 38 entries this year, festival visitors had lots of cute babies. Votes cost 25 cents each, with proceeds going toward various community projects sponsored by the Ypsilanti Area Jaycees. The winning King and Queen received $100 savings bonds with the Prince and Princess receiving $50 savings bonds. Drum roll please! The Beautiful Baby 2008 King and Queen are #8 Xavier Cantrell, son of Eric and Elain Cantrell and #9 Maggie Smith, daughter of Yvonne Smith. The Beautiful Baby 2008 Prince and Princess are #29 Brandon Scott-Luke, son Cheyenne Scott of #20 Autumn Mullins, daughter of Nicole Wilson and Brandon Mullins.
