What is the Precious Pets Contest?
This is NOT a juried contest. Contestants submit a favorite photo which is posted both on our website and at the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival Votes are purchased by the public, and the two photos in each category with the most votes will be declared the winners.
Why should I participate?
The proceeds of this contest are given to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, to help the unique and wonderful pets there who are still looking for a home.
How do I enter my pet?
Registration forms can be submitted online, or downloaded and submitted through the mail. Early registration is $5 per photo. Late registration is $7 per photo. Registration is limited to the first 100 submissions.
How do I vote?
Votes can be purchased both online, and at the Heritage Festival booth. Online votes must be submitted in $1 increments. Votes at the booth will be in 0.25 increments. There is no limit to the number of votes an individual may purchase.

Calendar Info
